I’ve compiled the latest stats for the community. Not sure if this sort of thing will interest you, but I’m a bit of a stats junkie myself. Why? People can–and do!–say all sorts of things. But the numbers? The numbers just don’t lie.
Kinda hard to argue with them.
So, in a world where people love to say anything… I like to let my actions do all the talking.
Sun City Peachtree ® Real Estate Market Report
Please Note: Unless otherwise indicated: All data is pulled directly from public records and will be made available upon request. Also, ‘YTD” = From January 01, 2013 – October 31, 2013 (November won’t be completely out until mid December– Early January).
YTD: 101 Homes have sold in Sun City Peachtree®. Now, when I say ‘sold’, I mean: escrow has been closed; the deed (from seller to buyer) has been transferred; and keys to the property have been given. ‘Sold’ means: Sold. ‘Sold’ does not mean: ‘Under Contract’.
Of these 101 Homes that have sold in Sun City Peachtree ® YTD, 71 have been new construction homes (sold by the builder) and the other 30 were ‘resale’ homes (That’s 29% of the market!).
27 of the ‘resale’ homes that have sold in Sun City Peachtree ® YTD were ‘listed’ with a real estate company. I (Jessica Horton) sold 17 of those 27 homes (approx. 63.0%). The next agent with the most resale homes has sold three (3) ‘resale’ homes YTD. That means: when it comes to ‘resale’ homes in the community: I outsell my closest ‘competitor’ almost 6 to 1! And I almost outsell my 3 closest competitors (all of whom work at the same real estate company) 3 to 1.
It should also be noted: my sellers—in Sun City Peachtree®—have saved over $230,747.00 (total) in real estate commissions (compared to paying a more traditional 6% rate that some companies may charge). That’s enough savings to purchase a Magnolia collection home! It’s YOUR MONEY… I help you keep it. Always have. Always will.

Of the 101 Homes that have sold in Sun City Peachtree ® YTD, 29 were Azalea Collection Homes; 48 were Dogwood Collection Homes; and 24 were Magnolia Collection Homes.
Of the 30 ‘resale’ homes that have sold in Sun City Peachtree ® YTD, 13 were Azalea Collection Homes (I’ve sold 6 of the 13); 10 were Dogwood Collection Homes (I’ve sold 5 of the 10); and 7 were Magnolia Collection Homes (I sold 6 of the 7).
